With its viscoelastic properties, rubber excels in almost every aspect. Suspension and mounting elements dampen and absorb harmful vibrations. Specially shaped elastic bodies provide effective sealing. Rubber is an excellent insulator and protects other components due to its high mechanical, chemical, and thermal resistance. 

Allasto bushes are cylindrical bushings that enable axial, radial, torsional, as well as cardanic movements. Allasto bushes are ideally suited as elastic fasteners and cover a wide range of applications. Typical fields of application include flexible bearings in pillow blocks for shafts and axles, inserts in control arms and couplings, as well as elastic joints on vibratory shakers. The Allasto bushes consist of two concentric sleeves with a firmly vulcanised rubber core positioned between them. This bonded rubber absorbs the entire movement, making lubrication or maintenance of the bearings completely unnecessary.
