✅ Free vulcanisation without additional aids

• Advantage: Lower costs
• Disadvantage: Larger manufacturing tolerances for the diameter

✅ Cold bonding: Bonding is carried out using a cyanoacrylate adhesive

• Advantage: Simpler assembly
• Disadvantage: Lower load capacity – only minimal bending and elongation possible

✅ Mould vulcanisation (tooling)

• Advantage: Smaller tolerances
• Disadvantage: One-off tooling costs, resulting in higher initial expenses
• Monolithic for frames: Here, the complete corner is manufactured inside the mould.
• Alternatively, profiles can be mitre-cut (45°) and vulcanised together in a mould.

✅ Assembly via film vulcanisation

• Advantage: Tighter tolerances achievable compared to free vulcanisation
• Disadvantage: A mould is also required!
